Unity of Command

Unity of Command is a rare gem in the strategy genre. An indie title which combines an excellent presentation with strategic depth all packaged in one of the most accessible wargames ever.

The Game

Turn-based, operational level wargame, played in hex maps. Supply is just as important as unit maneuvering. Sometimes you will need to grind down the enemy, but if you find a way to cut his supply you’ll have a much easier task. Unfortunately the AI also knows this all too well.

Content

Besides the base game you can buy two other expansions, as detailed below.

Base game

The base game places you at the command of the german forces in the 1942/43 Stalingrad campaign.

Red Turn

Red Turn expansion puts you at the front of the Soviet forces trying to liberate Stalingrad. If you succeed you can liberate all of the motherland and attack Berlin, spanning from 1943-45.

Black Turn

Black Turn takes the player back to 1941 taking control of the germans in Operation Barbarossa.
